Do you remember the camcorder, your mom or dad would whip out to film your first steps or blow out your birthday cake? Remember then how you would sit around your big and boxy TV to watch and laugh at these old home movies? I sure do. I vividly remember my father filming us around the house crawling, jumping on the couch, or running around outside. My dad and his camcorder were my first exposure to filmmaking.

Fast-forward 30 plus years later and now I am married and I am currently running my own business, a video production company called Filmspire, where I help organizations tell their story through video content strategies. After my son was born, I felt this desire to start capturing all of the small and beautiful moments we were experiencing as a family. I now knew how my dad must have felt as he captured these same moments of my siblings and me.

It inspired me to use my gift as a filmmaker to start creating Family Films for other families so they can cherish all the small and fleeting moments they experience every day.
